Our core values embody protection and transformation for survivors.  We are seeking qualified and committed volunteers to help provide support and care to survivors during their stay at Elora House.  If this is something you would like to get involved in, please fill out a volunteer application form and submit a vulnerable sector check to:

The role of the residential Advocate is to provide front line, trauma-informed support to survivors of sex-trafficking.  This will include facilitating programming, providing support counselling, completing administrative tasks associated with support goals, and appointment accompaniment.

The Donor support role is to provide positive relationships by monitoring incoming gifts and donations; responding in a timely manner to new donors; manage donor information in database; ensure information is passed on for income tax receipts, etc.

The role of the Fundraiser is to support the longer-term fundraising needs of Elora House through the development of marketing materials and through organizing fundraising events.

The role of a Grant Writer is to increase the financial stability of Elora House with the support of grants.  Help by locating, researching and applying to available grants by writing effective proposals.  Currently we are looking for grant writers who can also assist with applying for College and University grants for survivors to return to school.

The purpose of this role is to provide nutritious food to Elora House residents by picking up items from the grocery store or local food bank.

This role provides Elora House residents with housing search support with the goal of long-term housing solutions as they phase out of the Elora House Program. 

The purpose of this role is to build an online presence through social media platforms and raise community awareness  and engagement.

This volunteer role is intended to provide and role model basic cleaning skills that assist in the maintenance, cleaning and organizing at Elora House.

This role is intended to help residents achieve their academic goals through coaching and one on one tutoring and support.

This role is to help Elora House residents attend necessary appointments with an accompanied staff.   Licensed G2 Drivers and above must have  a 2 million dollar liability insurance on their vehicle.
