DONATE

We Need your Help

Your donation will enable us to continue to run Elora House and provide women with a safe place to stay while they begin to recover from the impacts of violence and exploitation. Your gift makes it possible for our trained staff to be there for survivors, supporting their long-term rehabilitation and helping them on their healing journey.

Currently, we are entirely privately donor funded. Your financial contribution provides a safe and supportive space for survivors of sex-trafficking; including 24-hour in-home support, meals and necessities; support counselling; life skills coaching and development; and most of all, an opportunity to rest and reflect

post trauma.

The Impact of your Gift

You can help impact the lives of trafficked survivors in our Community by giving a financial commitment that will go towards the provisions, opportunities and programming of Elora House. â€‹

Below are a few of the many ways that your gift will make an impact in the life of a survivor at Elora House.

Whether a monthly commitment or a one time gift, every donation matters.

Essential Items

$25

When a survivor enters our care they often arrive with the clothes on their back. A gift of $25/month can provide a survivor with essential items such as clothing and toiletries.

Wellness Items

$50

Our programming is focused on health and wellness. A gift of $50/month can provide a survivor with a yoga mat, running shoes and other items that will help them embark on their healing journey.

Programming

$100

As part of our restorative care model we offer programming that is focused on health and wellness. A gift of $100/month will help us purchase supplies such as art supplies and fitness equipment.

Education

$250

Many survivors have not had the opportunity to finish high school or pursue post secondary education as a result of their exploitation. A gift of $250/month can provide a survivor with textbooks and other school supplies.

Casework Support

$500

A gift of  $500 can help fund the intensive Case Work Support of a survivor for the duration of their stay at Elora House. This includes various therapies, navigating legal concerns, clearing debt bondage and whatever else a survivor needs support with.

Transitional Support

$1,000

When a survivor leaves our care to transition into independent living, they need furniture and living items, as well as special security items. A one time gift of $1,000 can help set a survivor up for their future.

from a survivor

"Elora House saved my life. I didn't think I would ever be safe again. With the support of unconditional love, I've been able to recover from my trauma, shame, and guilt. I've learned a new way of living and I don't have to be scared anymore. I know that I am not alone and never have to feel alone again."
